Venue and Instructions to Conference Delegates
The International Conference on Pattern Recognition Systems will be held in the main campus of the Universidad Católica de Maule in Talca, Chile.
If you are travelling from outside Chile, you will probably arrive at Santiago's Airport. To travel from the Airport to Talca, you will need to come out through Arrivals Exit 3 and get a bus transfer run by the TUR-BUS company (green buses). Its last stop will be its own Terminal Alameda (in Spanish) (also green!) in Santiago. In that Terminal you can purchase a coach (bus) ticket to Talca. Credit cards are normally accepted. The trip to Talca takes around 3 hours and all coaches are comfortable. When you arrive at the coach Terminal in Talca we recommend that you get a taxi to your hotel (average taxi charge is around 3500 CLP, around £3.50).
The single-track conference will be held on the "Manuel Larrain" auditorium (we are now planning to have wifi access installed in the auditorium).
