LASIE: The future of criminal investigation

LASIE is a EU-funded project dealing with analysis and manipulation of vast amounts of forensic
data.
This workshop will bring together representatives of Law Enforcement Agencies, technology developers and social scientists. It will discuss the respective needs and concerns about the future of criminal detection and forensics facilitated by technology. This workshop will conclude the LASIE project, designed to improve police investigation employing a system that integrates and analyses heterogeneous digital evidence, in order to optimise the daily work of police officers.
