9th International Conference of Pattern Recognition Systems
22-24 May 2018, Valparaíso, Chile
- Submission extended to 22nd February (final date)
- Three keynotes announced
The 9th International Conference on Pattern Recognition Systems (ICPRS) is an annual event that follows ICPRS-17 and ICPRS-16, a continuation of the successful Chilean Conference on Pattern Recognition that reached its 6th edition in 2014. In 2018 it is organised by the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (Chile), the Chilean Association for Pattern Recognition (ACHiRP, a member of the IAPR) and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Spain), endorsed by the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR) and sponsored by the Vision and Imaging Professional Network of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) who will publish its proceedings. Papers deemed to be of the required standard and presented at the conference, will be indexed by INSPEC and, through it, normally by IEEE Xplore and Scopus (provided that at least one author registers and presents the work at the conference). All paper submissions will be submitted via Conftool to be peer-reviewed by an international panel of experts. Excellent papers will be encouraged to submit extended versions for consideration in JCR-indexed journals.
The International Conference on Pattern Recognition Systems (ICRPS-18) aims to create an important networking forum in which participants can discuss the present and future of pattern recognition systems.
Its predecessors ICPRS-17, ICPRS-16, CWPR and CCPR, have traditionally been a meeting point of different disciplines (computer science, engineering, mathematics, etc.) and an opportunity for a wide range of researchers and practitioners to discuss the many different aspects of the application of pattern recognition technologies.
