International Conference of Pattern Recognition Systems
20-22 April 2016, Universidad Católica del Maule, Talca, Chile
NEW: The conference proceedings have been published by the IET ISBN: 978-1-78561-283-1
The 7th International Conference on Pattern Recognition Systems (ICPRS) is a development from the successful Chilean Conference/Workshop on Pattern Recognition (CCPR/CWPR) that reached its 6th edition in 2014. It is organised by the Chilean Association of Pattern Recognition, ACHiRP (affiliated to the IAPR) and is sponsored by the Vision and Imaging Professional Network of the (UK) Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) who will publish its proceedings (of accepted papers in English where at least one author registers and presents the work at the conference). Papers deemed to be of the required standard and presented at the conference, will be indexed by INSPEC and, through it, IEEE Xplore. All paper submissions will be submitted via Conftool to be peer-reviewed by an international panel of experts. Excellent papers will be invited to submit extended versions for consideration in IET research journals (Computer Vision, Image Processing, Biometrics)
The International Conference on Pattern Recognition Systems (ICRPS-16) aims to create an important networking forum in which participants can discuss the present and future of pattern recognition systems.
Its predecessors CWPR and CCPR, have traditionally been a meeting point of different disciplines (computer science, engineering, mathematics, etc.) and an opportunity for a wide range of researchers and practitioners to discuss the many different aspects of the application of pattern recognition technologies.
